Episode 189: Death of the 4th Estate!

The 4th Estate is a name given to the "press/news media/journalist" that primarily covers the Government & Political Officials. Journalists that investigate and report on Government & Political Officials preform an important role in our society! They help "link" the citizens & the government together and they help keep the government "in check"... or at least, that is what they should be doing!

Kris believes, however, that we are witnessing the "Death of the 4th Estate!" For some time, bias has been creeping into journalism... and more & more, "journalists" act as "commentators, with opinions" instead of "journalist"... which, doesn't have to be a bad thing, as long as everyone is honest about it & the citizens can balance out their intake.

However, the greatest problem is, the fact that so many Public Officials have decided they are just simply not going to take criticism from... anyone, anymore! And this is where this episode takes the listeners. This is the first part, in what will be a multiple episode look at "journalism", "criticism" and how society, can better hold Government & Political Officials accountable!

Mr. Tiller's group is called "Road to Redemption" and it was originally created by Brian & Jennifer Bell!

Mr. Tiller joins us to share his story but also to give warning of a very serious issue facing Muncie, Indiana - and honestly anyone within a 3 hour drive of Muncie... (as well as people anywhere). What is this serious issue? Well, it has recently been announced that a Methadone, Suboxone & Subutex Clinic will be coming to Munice, Indiana... and Mr. Tiller will and Kristopher will explain why this is a problem! No matter if you live in Muncie or within a couple hours drive of Muncie... chances are you, where ever you are, live within a couple hours of a similar Clinic... and you won't want to miss this discussion!
